Born and bred in the beautiful city of Napier, New Zealand, I am a dad, writer, commentator on local and national issues, occasional stand-up comedian and life-long cricket lover and player.

I am a columnist for Hawke’s Bay’s finest, most thought-provoking magazine BayBuzz and have had opinion pieces appear on Stuff.co.nz and regularly appear in my region’s local “Hawke’s Bay Today” newspaper.

I used to work in radio many years ago and still have the lovely bassy voice, as you may have heard occasionally on Radio New Zealand’s The Panel in 2018 and 2019.

I write about what I see, imagine and remember; what annoys me, what I love and pretty much anything else!
